ga ga for goo goo

I am adding an entry primarily because the last entry is silly and I want it to fade to the index page.

I only have to teach 3 more days... I'm so happy I could....sleep.

I went to a goo goo dolls concert last night... I didn't realize that I was familiar with so much of their "work." I went, for the most part, to be in the company of my friends. We had fun, and made a lot of fun (of the people sitting around us). One day I'll get over this catty bitch thing...I hope.

This big man in a head kercheif and a black leather harley-davidson vest grabbed my hand as I was on the way to the bathroom, and without taking his eyes off my chest (which was modestly clad in a navy blue t-shirt from the fuckin gap) asked my name and where I was from....he then said "you're such a gorgeous girl...I just want to grab you and hug you and kiss you and cuddle you." This was not a situation I was familiar with...I quickly retracted my hand and said "well, I'm sorry, you can't" and bolted for el bano. Perhaps the situation could have been handled with more subtley and grace...but he was scary and I needed to pee.

the opening band was tragically un-hip and the lead yeller set up a song like this

"yeah, this next one is called 'the weight of the world' and it's about the darkness."

oh you go you deep motherfucker.
