I haven't shared my nonsense with the creepy crawlers of the world wide web in quite some time.

This is because in the past two months I've moved from Detroit to Houston...spent five labor intensive weeks learning to be a teacher...only to begin teaching on Monday and realize that I have not a clue as to how to teach English as a Second Language to high schoolers from across the globe.

Luckily my phone line has been installed and I can now get online and write depressing drivel and tell amusing stories about my students instead of writing competent lesson plans and cooking up ways to learn Spanish, Urdu, Sindhi, Croatian, Liberian, and Bosnian overnight.

I will write more down and dirty stuff later.

for now, my roommates (read cockroaches and other assorted Texas trademarks)and I must brainstorm about teaching plural endings and essential verb tenses.
